Lip Lift procedure – lip augmentation and modeling
The Lip Lift procedure is a surgical lip lift. It is a method of lip augmentation and shaping that, contrary to lip fillers, is a permanent solution. In fact, there are several techniques for performing a lip lift.
The Bullhorn lip lift involves removing excess skin under the nose with an upward lift of the lips, so that the upper lip is optically enlarged. On the other hand, the Corner lip lift involves excision of excessive skin from around the outer corners of the lips.
This procedure aims to lift drooping corners of the mouth. Lift Lift procedures are performed in people with narrow, asymmetrical lips, with too long a space between the nose and the upper lip, as well as in people whose upper teeth are not visible when smiling. The procedures are performed under local anaesthetic.
